Camilo Perez gets both misspelled and mispronounced a lot, but I also get the problem that since I have two last names, it confuses people when I’m officially listed as Camilo Andres Perez Ossa. First semester of college a professor thought I was not in his class for about a month because of it.

i am a cost-a pobre, not a coast-a pobre. i’m not sure if other costas pronounce it coast-a? people like to mysteriously overpronounce my name in what they think is a spanish accent? but in spanish i always pronounce it cojjjta . welp thats my cool story, bros

oh and also my chinese teacher consistently refers to me as “costa” which makes me feel like i go to some super snooty british school for girls

Instead of Joe I get Joel a lot and I’ve never even met a person named Joel.
